Kinetic Energy The energy of motion
Potential Energy The energy an object has because of its position; stored energy
Mechanical Energy The energy associated with the motion and position of an object
Radiant Energy Energy that travels by waves or particles
Sound Energy The energy produced by vibrating sound waves
Chemical Energy The energy from chemical reactions
Electrical Energy Energy from electricity
Nuclear Energy The energy stored in the nucleus of an atom
Energy The ability to do work or cause change
Law of Conservation of Energy Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be CHANGED from one form to another
Energy Transformation The change of energy from one form of energy to another form of energy
Thermal Energy Also known as heat energy, it is the vibration and movement of the atoms and molecules within substances
Gravitational Energy The energy of position or place
