WBC differential - Neutrophils 50-70% : FIRST RESPONDERS / Most numerous. Two types - segmented (segs) and Bands (stabs)
WBC differential - Eosinophils 1-3% : allergic reaction
WBC differential - Basophils 0.4 - 1.0% : Fewest, increase during healing, decrease with steroid
WBC differential - Monocytes 4-6% : "eaters", second line of defense
WBC differential - Lymphocytes 25-35% : increased in viral infections, major role in immune response
