Unicellular organism Organism that contains only 1 cell.
Multicellular organism Organism that contains many cells.
Prokaryote Organism whose DNA is floating in the cytoplasm; only unicellular; contain very few organelles.
Eukaryote Organism whose DNA is inside a nucleus; can be unicellular or multicellular; more complex organisms; may have specialized cells.
Homeostasis Ability to maintain a stable, constant internal condition
Grow Get bigger
Develop Change into a more complex organism
Asexual Reproduction One parent; produces offspring identical to parent
Sexual Reproduction Two parents; uses sperm and egg; produces offspring that is a mix of both parents
