Photosynthesis uses light energy to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and glucose. Photosynthesis

IS essential. The nitrogen needs to be fixed so that it is joined to other elements like oxygen. Nitrogen
It is the trace of an element because it is only needed in small amounts. Zinc
It is the trace of an element because it is only needed in small amounts. Boron
It is the trace of an element because it is only needed in small amounts. Copper
they are tiny little holes that allows gas and water to leave the plants. Stomata
The process when water goes out of the leaves. Transpiration
Xylem transports water and minerals upwards and only travels one way. Xylem
Provides nutrients to the cells of growing roots. It travels upwards and downwards. Phloem
