| analyze | Think about the different parts of a problem or situation to figure out how it is related to the whole. |
| conclusion | An explanation of the results of an experiment. |
| data | The results or information that you get from doing a scientific experiment. |
| empirical evidence | Information acquired by observation or experimentation. |
| experiment | A procedure carried out under controlled conditions in order to discover an unknown effect or law, to test or establish a hypothesis, or to illustrate a known law. Simply, the process of testing. |
| hypothesis | An educated guess that is used for experiments; it must be tested in order to figure out whether it is true or false. |
| observation | An act or the power of seeing or taking notice of something. |
| scientific model | A systematic description of an object or phenomenon that shares important characteristics with the object or phenomenon. Simply, A set of steps that describes how scientific investigations are performed. |
| repetition | The act of doing or performing again. Simply, repeating. |
| replication | The action or process of reproducing or duplicating. Simply, copying. |
| procedure | The methods, or steps taken, to perform an experiment. |
| results | The outcome of an analyzes and/or experiment. |
