SVT Méthode

Révisions vocabulaire brevet

TermDefinition
Classification scientifique Regroupement d’espèces. En SVT, on réalise des groupes basés sur la présence d’attributs que certaines espèces ont en commun. Ce type de classification permet ensuite d’établir des liens de parenté plus ou moins important entre les espèces.
Clé de détermination Document qui permet de reconnaître étape par étape un être vivant en se basant sur l'observation de ce dernier.
Cycle Ensemble de phénomènes qui se produisent et se répètent dans le même ordre.
Expérience-témoin Expérience de référence dont on compare les résultats avec ceux de l'expérience-test. En général, on y place toutes les conditions (= facteurs) naturelles.
Extracellulaire À l’extérieur de la cellule.
Hypothèse Idée que l'on a mais qu'il faut prouver.
In vitro Se dit d'un phénomène étudié ou réalisé dans une éprouvette ou en laboratoire, dans des conditions artificielles, par opposition à « in vivo ».
In vivo Se dit d'un phénomène étudié ou réalisé dans un organisme vivant, par opposition à « in vitro ».
Intracellulaire À l’intérieur de la cellule.
Microscope Instrument permettant d'observer des objets ou des détails très petits, invisibles à l’œil nu.
Milieu Zone de vie pour les êtres vivants.
Oxymètre Appareil qui permet de mesurer le taux le dioxygène O2 de l’air (en %) ou de l’eau (en mg/L).
Problématique Question à propos d’un phénomène observé.
