Infomation about pollution in El Salvador.

Pollution Is one of the largest and most dangerous problems that exist on the planet, destroying the land and its original nature, this ends up destroying ourselves.
Types of pollution Water pollution. Air Pollution. Soil Pollution.
The people most affected by water pollution are? The elderly and young people.
What is air pollution ? is a mix of chemicals, particulate matter, and biological materials that react with each other to form tiny hazardous particles.
Which is the percent surface water bodies are contaminated in The Salvador ? 90%
The 100% of water in El Salvador is contaminated by faeces and minerals.
What are the symptoms resulting from exposure to air pollution? itchy eyes, nose and throat, wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain, headaches, nausea, etc
what is the main cause of water pollution in El Salvador ? Industrial waste
What mean deforestation ? the destruction of vast areas of forest (e.g., unsustainable forestry practices, agricultural and range land clearing, and the over exploitation of wood products for use as fuel) without planting new growth.
El Salvador lost 20.5 percent of its forest cover between the years of ? 1990 and 2005.
What is acid rain ? characterized as containing harmful levels of sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxide; acid rain is damaging and potentially deadly to the earth's fragile ecosystems
What is soil degradation ? damage to the land's productive capacity because of poor agricultural practices such as the excessive use of pesticides or fertilizers, soil compaction from heavy equipment, or erosion of topsoil,
What is soil erosion ? the removal of soil by the action of water or wind, compounded by poor agricultural practices, deforestation, overgrazing, and desertification.
