Food Web A connection of food chains with many food energy paths in a ecosystem.
Carnivore An animal that gets energy by eating only other animals
Herbivore An animal that gets energy by eating only plants
Prey An animal that is hunted as food
Consumer An organism that gets energy from eating other organisms
Predator An organism that hunts and feeds on other animals
Producer An organism that uses sunlight to make it's own food for animals
Omnivore Animals that get energy by eating both plants and other animals
Life cycles The stages in an organisms life from birth to death
