air mass A huge body of air that has simular tempature ,humidaty,and air pressuer throughout
Anticyclone A high-pressure center of dry air
Continental A dry air mass that forms over land
Cyclone A swerlling center of low air - pressure .
Front The bondrey where unlike air - masses meet but do not mix
Maritime A humid air mass that forms over oceans
Occluded Cut off as in a front where warm air mass is caght between two cooler air masses .
Polar A cold air mass that forms north of 50 north latitued or south of 50 south latatuied and has high air pressuer .
Tropical A warm air mass that forms in the tropics and has a low air pressuer.
