| latent heat | heat converted into a liquid, or a liquid converted into a solid or gas |
| dew point | when water droplets condense in atmospheric temperatures |
| relative humidity | water vapor present in air for the amount needed for the saturated temperature |
| condensation nuclei | 1/100th the size of a real water droplet, which water condenses |
| adiabatic cooling | the process of reducing heat through the change in air pressure |
| advective cooling | the transfer of properties, just as heat, cold, or humidity |
| coalescense | when two droplets come together ad form a daughter droplet |
| supercooling | a liquid before it's freezing point without becoming a solid |
| cloud seeding | drops of crystals into clouds to make rain |
