TermDefinition
Brown v Board determined the separate but equal doctrine.
State govs role The federal government provides the free education and the state government provides guidance on educational decisions made within said state.
Elementary and Secondary Education act. passed as LBJs war on poverty actions. Provided an equal access to quality education for everyone in the US.
Department of Education Department in the US government that oversees the education system in the US and creates policy for school as well.
School Vouchers government founded voucher redeemable for tuition fees at a school other than the public school that a student could attend free.
No Child Left Behind Every child deserves and gets the opportunity for a free education.
