The solar system consists: The sun, eight planets, their moons, an asteroid belt, comets and meteors.
What are the 8 planets? Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
The study of the Sun, the Moon, stars and planets is called: Astronomy
A person who studies astronomy is: Astronomer
Mercury Hot during the day, cold during the night.
Venus It is called the Morning or the Evening Star.
Earth It has life on it and it is called the blue planet.
Mars It is called the red planet.
Jupiter The biggest planet in the solar system.
Saturn It has beautiful rings.
Uranus It is an icy planet. It has many clouds.
Neptune It is very cold. It has strong winds.
