omnivore an organism that eats plants and meat
carnivore an organism that eats only meat
herbivore an organism that eats only plants
food chain a chart that shows energy transfer between a producer & consumers
producer an organism like a plant that makes its own energy
consumer a living thing that cannot make its own food
primary consumer an organism that only eats plants
competition the struggle among living things for resources
decomposer an organism that gets energy by breaking down the remains of other organisms.
