adaptatoins special traits or characteristics that help an organism survive
biodiversity the number and variety of living things in an area,ecosystem,or region.
camoflauge an adaptation that allows organisms to blend into their surroundings as a way to hide from predators or capture prey.
classify to put in groups based on similar characteristics.
characteristics a specific feature that helps identify something, can be physical features or be behavior.
endangered at risk of becoming extinct.
external features body parts or coverings on the outside of an animals body and may help it survive.for example it has brown fur and a long tail.
invasive species plants or animals that negatively affect their habitat they cause destruction or problems.
threatened at risk of becoming endangered.
populatoin one type of organism in an ecosystem .
