Sedimentary rocks

What is clastic rock? a sedimentary rock that forms when rock fragments are squeezed together
What is Organic rock Organic rock forms were the remains of pants and animals are deposited in thick layers.
What is chemical rock? when minerals that are dissolved in a solution crystallize
What is erosion? running wind, water, or ice loosen and carry away fragments of rocks
What is deposition? the process by which sediment settles out of the water
What is compaction? the process that presses sediments together
What is cementation? the process in which dissolved minerals crystallize.
