Sphere A rounded circle that's distance from one side to the other is always equal
Waxing Phases of moon cycle in which more of the moon is observable to earth.
Waning Phases of moon cycle in which less of the moon is observable to earth.
Solar eclipse An eclipse in which the sun is obscured by the moon.
Lunar eclipse An eclipse in which the moon appears darkened as it passes through earth's shadow.
Crater Asteroids and meteors leaving a hole shaped mark in the moon
Manta The dark parts of the moon
Solstices The longest and shortest days of the year
Equinox The 2 days of the year in which time length of the day is equal around the earth.
Rotation The process in which a planet spins on it's axis
Revolution The cycle in which the planet goes around the system's star.
