What is a Guillotine? Guillotine dates back to 1790s in the French Revolution. It was a machine with a heavy blade sliding vertically in grooves. It’s main purpose was beheading
Who invented the Guillotine? Its inventor was Dr. Joseph-Ignace Guillotin. He was also a surgeon. He wanted to find a more humane way of execution.
Why was the Inventor of the Guillotine so proud of it? Because it didn't discriminate between race, religion, or gender. It killed equally. HOORAY!
