air pressure the weight of atmosphere pressing down on the earth
pressure the continuous physical force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it.
density is a measure of mass per volume
aneroid barometer a device for measuring atmospheric pressure without the use of fluids.
barometer an instrument measuring atmospheric pressure, used especially in forecasting the weather and determining altitude.
mercury barometer a barometer in which the weight of a column of mercury in a glass tube
altitude the height of an object or point in relation to sea level or ground level.
