Information technology the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications) for storing, retrieving, and sending information.
Instructional technology the art and study of building a learning system and also building a feedback mechanism into the learning system
Manufacturing technology a computer-controlled or micro-electronics-based equipment used in the design, manufacture or handling of a product.
Biomedical technology a broad term that combines engineering and technology to solve biological or medical problems involving humans, especially the design and use of medical equipment used to diagnose and treat various diseases.
Construction technology include plumbing, construction management, green standards for buildings, refrigeration, electrical wiring, and heating and air conditioning.
Transportation technology any technology that is used to transport people and/or products within a society
