| Nucleus | A cell structure that contains chromosomes and tell the cell what to do |
| Chromosome | Made of nucleic acid and contains genetic information (DNA) |
| Chromotid | The double copy of the chromosome during mitosis. Looks like an “X” |
| Seed | A flowering plant’s unit of reproduction, capable of creating a new plant. |
| Spores | Single celled reproductive unit of nonflowering plants, bacteria, fungi, and algae that makes a copy of the organisms that produced it. |
| Pistil | Part of the flower of the plant, the female part of the pant, if fertilized a seed will be formed |
| Stamin | The male parts of the flower that contain pollen, which fertilizes a flower. |
| Homeostasis | The ability to maintain stability in response to environmental changes. |
| Insulin | A hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates blood sugar when sugar levels get too high. |
| Glucagon | A hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates blood sugar when sugar levels get too low. |
