Major Tonic Triad - S M D
Minor Tonic Triad- M D L
Dominant Chord - Major R T S
Anacrusis- taking a portion of the final measure and adding it at the beginning of the song.
Major Key Signatures - the last flat is Fa, the last sharp is Ti
Extension dot- the dot increases the duration by ½ its value
Tie - ties merge notes of the same pitch
Flats - a flat lowers a note by half a step
Sharps- a sharp raises a note by half a step
Natural - a natural cancels out a flat or a sharp
Interval - an interval is the distance between two notes
