Ecology study of interactions among living things

Carnivore consumer that only eats meat
Omnivore consumer that eats plants and animals
Detritivore consumer that eats detritus (dead organic matter)

Specialists consumer that eats one organism type or a small variety
Generalists consumer with a varying diet
Trophic Level levels of nourishment in a food chain
Food Web a chart that links all possible eating relationships with multiple organisms
