Facts about the earth and the weather

| ANEMOMETER | It measures the wind speed |
| THERMOMETER | It measures the temperature |
| RAIN GAUGE | It measures the rainfall |
| WIND VANE | It measures the wind direction |
| BAROMETER | It measures the air pressure |
| POLLUTION | Contamination (anything that makes the earth dirty) |
| CARDINAL POINTS | The cardinal points are NORTH, SOUTH, EAST amd WEST |
| MAP | A representation of a place |
| MAP KEY | The symbols that we use to represent objects in a map |
| GLOBE | It´s a ball that represents the Earth |
| HEMISPHERE | It´s the half of the Earth |
| EQUATOR | It´s an imaginary line that splits the Earth in two |
| EVAPORATION | When the water turns into water vapor |
| CONDENSATION | When the water vapor cools down and form clouds |
| PRECIPITATION | When the raindrops fall down |
| CLIMATE | The average weather conditions at a particular place over a long period of time |
