| Nucleus | The control center of a cell. |

| Endoplasmic Reticulum | This moves materials throughout the cell. |
| Cell Membrane | This holds the parts of the cell together and controls the movement of materials into and out of the cell. |
| Ribosome | This produces proteins for the cells. |
| Chromosome | This is a string-like structure in a cell nucleus that carries information controlling all the cell's activities. |
| Cell Wall | Tough, nonliving material that acts like an outside skeleton for each plant cell. |
| Chloroplasts | Organelle that makes sugars, using carbon dioxide, water, and energy from sunlight. |
