| Three types of plant tissue | transport tissue to move water and nutrients throughout the plant, protective tissue to cover the plant, and ground tissue where photosynthesis takes place. |
| Organ | A collection of tissues that carry out a specialized function of the body. |
| organ system | a group of organs that work together to perform body functions. |
| Organism | is a living thing; anything that can carry out life processes independently |
| Unicellular | Made up of one cell. |
