What is a chemical change? A change in which a chemical reaction takes place
What are the five evidences of a chemical reaction? Solid precipitate forms, temperature change, bubbles/gas, unexpected color change, odor produced
What is the Law of Conservation of Mass? Matter cannot be created or destroyed only transferred
What is an observation? Information gained using the five senses
What is an inference? What you think based on your observations
What is a hypothesis? You prediction for what will happen next using observations and inferences
What type of statement do you use when making a hypothesis? If this... then that.
What is the formula for speed? Distance divided by time
What is the formula for force? Mass times acceleration
What is Newton's first law? Law of Inertia
What is Newton's second law? Law of acceleration
What is Newton's third law? Law of action and reaction
