| Erosion | Process of wind and water, ice, gravity, or natural forces that move sediment over. |
| Roots | Plant organ that takes in water and nutrients from soil. |
| Topography | Physical features which define the relief of a landscape. |
| Deposit | Amount of rock or soil that has been laid down in an area. |
