Erosion

| mechanical weathering | the process of breaking down big rocks into little ones |
| chemical weathering | the process that which rocks undergo any kind of chemical deposition |
| soil | a portion of earth’s surface consisting of reintegrated rock and humus |
| organic matter | anything that contains carbon compounds that were formed by living organisms |
| erosion | the process of eroding or being eroded by wind water or any other natural agents |
| roots | the part of a plant that attaches it to the ground or to a support, typically underground, conveying water and nourishment to the rest of the plant |
| topography | the arrangement of natural and artificial features of an area |
| deposit | soil, sand, and rocks are always moving from one place to another |
