| Conductor | Matter that allows energy to transfer easily. |
| Thermal Energy | Energy in the form of heat. |
| Transfer | The transfer (movement) of energy from one object to another. |
| Heat | The transfer of thermal energy. |
| Temperature | The measure of how hot or cold an object is. |
| Absorb | To take in and hold a substance (heat). |
| Reflect | The throwing back or bouncing back of a wave (heat wave). |
