What is a dependent variable? It is the item that is changed in an experiment
What is a constant? It is an item that needs to stay the same throughout the experiment
What is the basic metric unit for length? It is meters
What is the basic metric unit for volume? It is liters
What is the basic metric unit for mass? It is grams
What is an ionic bond? An ionic bond is a bond between a metal and a non-metal formed after a transfer of electrions
What is a covalent bond? A covalent bond is a bond between two non-metals formed by sharing of electrons
What is the charge of a proton? A proton's charge is positive
What is the charge of a neutron? A neutron has no charge
What is the charge of an electron? An electron's charge is negative
Is carbon a metal or a non-metal? Carbon is a non-metal
Is mercury a metal or non-metal? Mercury is a metal
