Crest The height of the wave.
Trough How low the wave goes.
Wavelength The distance between 2 points.
Frequency The number of waves that pass a point in a given amount of time.
Ampitude The distance between a wave's mid-point and its crester wave.
Transverse Wave A wave which the crests and troughs move at right angles to the direction of the waves travel.
