Light Waves

Crest The top of a wave.
Transverse Wave A wave in which the crests and troughs move at right angles to the direction of the waves travel.
Amplitude The distance between a waves mid-point and its crest o trough.
Trough The trough is the bottom of the wave.
Wavelength The distance between two troughs.
Frequency The number of waves that pass a point in a given amount of time.
Light Energy that you can see.
Reflection Light that reflects off an object.
Refraction The bending of light rays as they enter a new medium.
