Light Waves

What are light Waves

TermDefinition
Crest The top of the wave
Trough The bottom of the wave
Wavelength How long the wave is
Amplitude Length from the middle to the top or middle to the bottom
Frequency The number of waves that pass a point
Transverse Wave A wave in which the crests and the troughs move at the right direction of the waves travel
Light Energy that you can see
Reflection Light will bounce of the object, it will go in the same direction or the different direction
Refraction The bending of an object entering a new medium
Color Spectrum Is ROYGBIV
ROYGBIV Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet
