QuestionAnswer
what is a divergent boundary? the boundary were 2 plates move away from each other.
what is a convergent boundary? the boundary were 2 plates move towards each other.
what is the subduction process? the process were one plate slowly moves over another.
what is a transform boundary? the boundary were the plates move opposite ways.
what is an earthquake? the vibrations caused by a rupture and sudden movement of rocks along a break or crack in the earths crust.
what is the diff between magma and lava? magma is the molten rock stored beneath the surface lave is the magma that erupts onto earths surface.
what is a volcano? vents in earths crust in which molten rock flows.
what is a mid ocean ridge? long narrow mountains formed by magma at divergent boundary's.
