Steps In the Rain Shadow affect

Evaporation The process in which liquid water becomes water vapor [a gas].
Condensation The process in which water vapor [a gas] in the air turns into liquid water.
Accumulation The process in which water pours out into bodies of water like oceans, seas, lakes, and ponds.
Precipitation the process in which water in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail falls from the clouds in the sky.
Transpiriation The process in which some water in plants evaporates into the atmosphere.
Surface runoff when rain, snow melting, or other water that flows into surface streams, rivers, canals, or other bodies of water.
