Rotation Earths spin on it's axis (24hrs=1day)
Longitude The distance east or west of the prime meridian measure in degrees
Weather The state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat dryness,sunshine,wind,rain,etc
Altitude Height relative to sea level
Earths axis of rotation An imaginary line through earths core connecting the north and south poles (tilted at 23.5 degrees)
Differential heating The tilt of earths axis cause different places on earth to get different amounts of solar energy
Revolution Earths trip around the sun
Climate Average weather patterns for a specific region
Latitude The distance north or south of the equator, measured in degrees
