Biography -Witten about someone else's life -In 3rd Person Person Point of View -Basted on information from many sources -Includes books, journals, letters, and interviews -Sometimes includes detail provided by who the biography is written about
Auto-Biography -The writer is the author of his or her own story -In 1st Person Point of View -Describes the subjects thoughts, feelings, and opinions based on details from the subjects own memories
Memoir -In 1st Person Point of View -This is an auto-biography account -It describes the subjects opinions and observations of a moment in history (not a story of their entire life) -It will often include the historical content of the subject
Personal Narrative -In 1st Person Point of View -An auto-biography essay -Tells a story about real people and events -A short work of non-fiction -Deals with a single subject -The writer tells a story
