Rhythm Flashcard Examples for IST 201

Quarter Note A note that receives one beat (1)

Sixteenth Note A note that receives a fourth of a beat (1 e & a)
Whole Note A note that receives four beats (1 (2 3 4) )
Whole Rest A rest that receives four beats (1 (2 3 4 ) )
