QuestionAnswer
Qualitative Observations that describes an objects appearance , color, texture,color.
Quantitative Observations that provide numbers or measurements
Observations Using your five senses to experience an event or occurrence
Inferences Kind of like a guess , it's logical guess based on things
Claim State your answer to the guiding question
Evidence Provide an analysis of the data you collected in your interpretation of the analysis
Justification of the evidence Explain why the evidence matters using scientific concepts or principles
Variable Something that is changed
Independent Variable "the cause" The one thing that is changed in an experiment
Dependent variable " the effect" result of the experiment , what is measured
Guiding question What do you want to know ?what is the point ?
Background knowledge Find out as much as you can about the topic or material do you want to use
Hypothesis It has it or then and it and it is a statement that tells the reader what you think will happen when you manipulate one variable
Designing a method in collecting data Deceptive OK to prove whether your hypothesis is correct or not. Important only one variable at a time may be changed
