A tool used to identify animals plants, and other organisms and objects. Made up of an organisms Genus and Species. The genus must be capitalized, both words must be italicized or underlined and the Genus may be abbreviated.(Ex: Homo Sapien or H. sapien) Dichotomous Key

Features that organisms have that help them survive in their environment. Adaptation
Ways that organisms act to help them to survive. Behavioral Adaptation
Metabolic responses within the cells or tissues of an organism to the environment. Physiological Adaptation
Features of organisms physical bodies that help them survive. Structural Adaptation
A natural process resulting in the evolution of organisms best adapting to their environment. This acts on populations, not individuals. Natural Selection
