How does the Law of Conservation of Mass apply to the rock cycle? Mass is not created or destroyed so when a rock is going through the rock cycle, they are keeping the same matter just rearranging it.
What are Igneous rocks? Rocks of cooled magma/lava. - Rocks formed by lava above ground, has tiny crystals = Extrusive Igneous Rock -Rocks formed by magma underground, has large crystals = Intrusive Igneous Rock
What are Sedimentary rocks? -Sedimentary rocks are rocks that are formed from smaller pieces (sediment) of weathered and eroded rock. -Sedimentary rocks cover approximately 75% of the Earth's surface.
What are Metamorphic rocks? Rocks formed by heat and pressure
