Meiosis V Mitosis

Anaphase The stage of meiotic or mitotic cell division in which the chromosomes move away from one another to opposite poles of the spindle.
Asexual Reproduction When a single cell or organism makes a copy of itself.
Cell Cycle Is the series of events that take place even in a cell leading up to it's division and duplication of it's DNA.
Cell Division The division of a cell into two daughter cells with the same genetic material.
Centromere The point of an chromosome by which is attached to a spindle fiber during cell division.
Chromosome A threadlike structure of nuclei acids acids and protein found in the nucleus of living things.
Crossing Over The exchange of genes between two chromosomes.
Cytokinesis The cytoplasm division of a cell at the end of mitosis of meiosis.
