| classification | the process of grouping thing based on similarities |
| taxonomy | the branch of science that formally names and classifies organisms by their structure function and relationship |
| domain | the highest and longest rank of grouping organisms three groups arc hare bacteria and Eukaryota |
| domain bacteria | prototypical single celled organism that lacks a nucleus in its cells |
| domain archaea | prototypical single celled organism that lacks a nucleus in its cell and can live in extreme environments |

| Kingdom | a taxonomic rank below Domain 6 Groups Animalia Fungi Plantae Protista Archaea and Eubacteria |
| autotroph | an organism that CANNOT make its own food know as a producer in the food chain |
| heterotroph | an organism that CANNOT make its own food knows as consumer in the food chain |
| asexual reproduction | a method of perodution that requires only one parent 100% DNA from 1 parent |
| sexual reproduction | a method of reproduction that requires both male and female parent 50% from 1 parent 50% from 1 parent |
| cell theory | stares that all living organisms are made up of 1 or more cells;cells are the basic unit of life and all cells come from other cells |
| Kingdom Archeabacteria | unicellular asexual auto and heterotroph prokaryotic organism that live in extreme environments |
| kingdom eubacteria | unicellular asexual auto and heterotroph prokaryotic organism that lives moderate environment |
| kingdom protista | uni and multicultural sexual os asexual auto and heterotrophic Eukaryota organism known as a decompose in the food chain |
| kingdom fungi | uni and multi cellular sexual or asexual auto and hetero trophic eukaryotic organism known as a decompose in the food chain |
| kingdom plantae | multicellular sexual and asexual autotrophs eukaryotic organism known as a producer in the food chain |
| kingdom animilia | multi cellular sexual and asexual heterotroph Eukaryota organism known as a consumer in the food chain |
