Light

TermDefinition
medium the material through which light travels
reflect (reflection) occurs when light bounces off an object.
refract (refraction) the bending of light as it passes from one medium to another medium. (Like light passing from air to water.)
transmit the passing of light through a medium
absorb light is "taken in" by the medium.
lens curved piece of glass or plastic that bends light.
