neutron star a massive, incredibly dense star a the end of a giant star's life
pulsar a neutron star that spins and releases pulses of radio waves
black hole the end of a supergiant star's life; an incredibly dense star that has collapsed on itself and has the ability to bend and suck in light
brown dwarf a failed star that is not massive enough to sustain fusion
