今日しあいがありますが、行きませんか。 There is a game today. Won't you go?
だれがあなたを学校へむかえに来ますか。 Who comes to pick you up at school?
しゅうくだいをとりに行ってもいいですか。 May I go to get my homework?
父は中国語が話せますが、私は話せません。 My father can speak Chinese, but I cannot.

かみのけをみじかくして下さい。 Please make my hair short.
ここをきれいにして下さい。 Please clean up this place.
牛肉をうすくきって下さい。 Please slice the beef thin.
いとこんにゃくを半分にきって下さい。 Please cut the shredded konnyaku in half.

日本語の先生は日本人だったりアメリカ人だったりします。 Teachers of Japanese are sometimes Japanese and sometimes American.
日本へ行ったら、いろいろな物を見たいです。 When (If) I go to Japan, I want to see various things.
休みがもっとながかったら、うれしいです。 If the vacation is longer, I will be happy.
日本語が上手だったら、しごとがあります。 If I am good at Japanese, I will have a job.
私は母にばんごはんを作ってあげました。 I made dinner for my mother.
いもうとに本を読んでやりました。 I read a book to my younger sister.
父は私を学校につれて行ってくれます。 My father takes me to school.
ぼくは友だちにお金をかしてもらいました。 I had my friend lend me some money (as a favor).
