| B. Reservoir | Habitat, area for its growth and multiplication |
| C. Portal of Exit | Point where microorganisms will leave the reservoir |
| D. Mode of transmission | vehicle or ways for transfer of microorganisms from the reservoir to the host. Contact/air/vehicle/vector |
