Tech 8: Week 1

Technology The process of using human knowledge to turn resources into goods and services that people want or need
Technical Drawing Plans that visually communicate how something functions or is to be constructed
Orthographic Drawing Representing a 3D object in 2D
Isometric Drawing A pictorial drawing that 3 sides of an object that has been rotated 30 degrees
Object Line A thick, heavy line in construction drawings that outlines the object
Hidden Line Dashed lines used to represent parts of an object that is hidden from view
Scale Drawing Drawing an object that is not of the true size, but of accurate proportions
