Stratus Clouds blanket like clouds that often produce long steady prescipitation
Cumulus Cloud puffy clouds with a flat bottom and that bring fair weather
Cirrus Clouds wispy,feather like shape;seen sunny days
Cumulonimbus Clouds produce heavy and brief thunderstorms and the only clouds to form vertically (up and down)
Fog low lying stratus clouds
Rain falls through warm air from the cloud all the way to the ground
Snow falls through cold air from the cloud all the way to the ground
Sleet falls as a raindrop from the cloud and then falls through cold air at the ground "frozen raindrop"
Hail produced by a cumulonimbus cloud-moves up and down in the cloud and grows lager and larger
