Angina pectoris Chest pain due to low oxygen to the heart muscle

Hypercholesterolemia High cholesterol in the blood
Cyanosis Bluish discoloration of the skin
Hypoxia Low oxygen
Phlebotomy Making an incision in the vein
Atherosclerosis Yellow or fat plague deposited inside of an artery
Tachycardia Fast heart rate
Thrombosis A blood clot inside of a blood vessel
Embolism A blood clot that moves from one area of a blood vessel to another area
Angiogram Instrument used to record activities of the blood vessel
Endocarditis Inflammation of the inner lining of the heart
Murmur Abnormality of the heart valves
Cardiomegaly Enlargement of the heart
Hemoglobin Transport oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body, such as the muscles, where it releases the oxygen for cell use
Varicose vein Abnormally swollen and twisted veins usually occurring in the legs
Hypertension High blood pressure
